The 1. International Argentinian Tango Festival in Latvia „Tango Sun Festival 2008” in the Baltic sea resort Jurmala is organised by „Tangostudio” - the Argentinian tango dance studio led by the tango teachers and dancers Aigars Stirna and Ginta Opmane.

 

The „general repetition” of festival was in July 2007 in Salacgrīva, another city near the Baltic sea, when the first International Tango Summer Camp was organised by the „Tangostudio” with about 40 participants from Germany, Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.

 

 

•         More than 200 tango dancers from Argentina, Germany, Netherlands, Greece, Finland, Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and other countries expected.
