The 1.International Argentinian Tango Festival „Tango Sun Festival 2008” in Jurmala/Latvia welcomes the following excellent teachers from Argentina, Germany and Latvia:
 

Adrian Veredice & Alejandra Hobert (Argentina)

 
Dancers and international masters of Argentine tango living in Buenos Aires, represent this music and dance with their artistic formation of great importance, characterized by their own style, where elegance, homogeneity and simplicity stand out. Their dance projects in different places of the world the values of the Argentine tango essence.

They have taken part in tango festivals like: Buenos Aires, Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Moscow, Wuppertal, Rome, Malmo, Fivizzano, Taipei, Budapest, Seoul, Siracusa, Paris, Istanbul and Rio de Janeiro. They are members of the staff of teachers of Cosmotango C.I.T.A. (International Congress of Argentine Tango), “The Bs As Argentine Tango Experience", first tango teachers of the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in the USA and in different tango associations in the USA and Australia. They are currently solo dancers of the "Tanguisimo" orchesta (www.tanguisimo.org), they are also the main dancers and choreographers in the "Otango" show (www.otango.com).

Ilona & Salvador Rios (Germany)

 
Ilona and Salavador (both living in Germany) are well-known masters of dancing and teaching tango and, especially, the „Vieja Milonga” – old milonga. They are great dancers with more than 12 years experience. Salvador has long years experience in latinamerican folklore dances in his homeland Mexico but Ilona - experience in latinamerican and standart dances in Germany. Salvador and Ilona have learned tango by many great teachers - Ruben "Milonga" Terbalca, Gustavo Naveira, Sergio Molini & Gisela Graef Moreno, Eric Müller and Jeusa Vasconcelos. Ilona and Salvador are teachers of the Tango Festival in Wuppertal / Germany for many years (www.tango-tango.de).

Laura Priori & Andreas von Maxen (Germany)

 
Laura and Andreas are tango teachers and dancers with more than 13 years experience. They have studied tango with such great masters like Graciela Gonzales, Chicho & Lucia,  Fernando & Vilma. Laura and Andreas are working together with different dancers like Diego „El Pajaro“ Riemer or Brigitta Winkler. They are participating in tango projects likeTangomujer” and others. Laura (her homeland is Italy) and Andreas are both living, dancing and teaching tango in Berlin (Germany), they are DJs and organisers of famous Sunday milonga in Loewenpalais in Berlin.
 

Aigars Stirna & Ginta Opmane (Latvia)

 
Aigars and Ginta are experienced and passionate tango dancers and teachers from Riga (Latvia). Aigars has 9 years experience of dancing and 5 years of teaching tango, for two years he studied in the school for tango teachers with Juan D. Lange in „Estudio Sudamerica” in Berlin. Ginta has 5 years experience of dancing and teaching tango, as well as more than 15 years experience of dancing folklore dances, modern ballett and contemporary dance. Aigars and Ginta have learned with such great masters of Argentinian tango like Gustavo Naveira & Giselle Anne, Mariano „Chicho” Frumboli, Adrian Veredice & Alejandra Hobert, Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa, Eugenia Parilla, Nito & Elba and others in Argentina and Europe.
